4K footage FCPX Mac Pro 2008? will it work?
I'm investing in a 4K camcorder, will my mac Pro 2008 be able to edit the footage with FCPX.
video card ATI Radeon HD 4870 512 MB
20gigs of Ram.
Mac Pro, HP c5580
the 4870 proves:
Support for digital resolutions up to 2560 by 1600 pixels
That is far short of 4K. You will need a better graphics card.
